Evalyn played soccer this summer!
We started with a camp that lasted three days.
(Check out her form...good job!)
She absolutely LOVED the camp!
And she played super hard.
Atta Girl!
Whenever the coaches were explaining the next drill,
she would stand by the teenagers, not her peers...so funny.
She was really quite impressive for her age.
And she had such fun doing the drills all three days of soccer camp.
(And this is me trying to objective, not an over zealous mom.)

And then we started the soccer season,
and this was the picture I took at every game.
Evalyn was not impressed with 10 kids chasing one soccer ball.
She's still cute though. :)
Her favorite part of every game was the "warm ups"
and then high-fiving everyone afterwords.
"Good game!, Good job!, Good game!"
She loved that part.
So I guess it was worth it...
we both learned a lot this soccer season.
Evalyn learned about the game of soccer,
and I learned more about my happy, energetic, supportive little girl.
what a little cutie! i love the pictures of her doing drills! she is AWESOME! I am so glad i got to see her play some soccer while we visited!
ReplyDeletep.s. i think it's hillarious that you are now a "soccer mom" with your mini van and getting treats for her soccer team! oh, we are growing up so fast! :-P
awww... maybe she stands by the teenagers cause she likes Alex and I a bit too much? We do look like teenagers, lol...
